La Grande Classe - Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2007
Créé en 2004 sur une idée de Philippe Lechevalier, capitaine à l'époque de Moonbeam IV, et se tenant traditionnellement le jeudi, le Trophée Mer & Bateaux de la Grande Classe réunit, comme aux régates anglaises de 1880 à 1930, les plus grands "racers" classiques présents à Saint-Tropez. Au terme de trois régates, Mariquita détient le Trophée, repris à Cambria l'an dernier.Rappelons que ce Trophée, couru en temps réel et sans distinction de gréement, sera acquis au yacht qui aura remporté trois victoires. Il faudra attendre la fin de la journée du 4 octobre pour connaître les nouveaux vainqueurs de ce trophée qui fait se mesurer sur invitation les plus grands, mais surtout les plus beaux yachts de tradition restaurés dans un parfait souci d'authenticité ou les répliques les plus fidèles aux plans d'origine. Un spectacle fabuleux à découvrir en cliquant sur le clocher de l'image ci-dessus, entre la tour du Portalet, la Moutte et la célèbre bouée de la Nioulargue.

LEARNING PROMOTION AND INNOVATION AT RIVA’S The second edition of the Scholarship entitled to “Franco Bombardini” at the Univeristà degli Studi of Modena and Reggio Emilia was held on Tuesday 16th May at 6.00 pm. During the event, promoted by the Rotary Club of Reggio Emilia, it was held a conference whose title was “Education, Innovation and Enterprises” by Ferruccio Rossi, Riva CEO. The shipyard, always caring about education and innovation, was chosen as the best example of synergies and knowledge. The educational heritage linked to the long history of Riva in the production of pleasure boats, in fact, is a real a mile stone in the nautical history worldwide.
