It replaces the successful Princess 57 for the coming season. Aside from the owner’s cabin, which extends over the full hull beam amidships, there are two additional, generously appointed guest cabins plus an optional crew cabin for two people. This 26t motor yacht offers a choice of either Volvo Penta or Caterpillar diesel engines rated at 2x715 HP
metric (526kW) to 865 HPmetric (636kW) for maximum speeds ranging from 30 to 34 kn (56 to 63 km/h).

PERSHING 50

Silver arrows

With its 50 Shaftliner, Pershing from Italy is now showcasing – as a German premiere – the successful 50-footer (15.30m) in the form of a less expensive alternative with direct shaft transmission and conventional propellers. Previously, this sport cruiser was only available with Arneson surface drives. In addition, the Pershing 72 (22.26 m) will also be making its world debut. Both models feature the racy silver-arrow look and fall in the class of the ‘new opens’ with their large sliding hatch in the roof above the saloon. Below deck there are three cabins for the owner and guests and in the 72-footer – with Arneson surface drives and two MTU engines – a further crew cabin.

Wally-like from Greifswald Heralded with an impressive fanfare one year ago, the Fjord 39 – the first motor yacht manufactured by Yachtzentrum Greifswald (Germany) that makes the Hanse sailing yachts – is now celebrating its Düsseldorf premiere. The 11.99m long cabin boat was designed by Patrick Banfield who was also a major contributor in the development of the futuristic Wally’s Hand. The clear design contours are instantly recognisable. The minimalistic interior was penned by Mark Tucker. The craft is controlled from inside the saloon in which the U-sofa and galley offer both comfort and convenience. Located forward are two cabins for the owner and guests, while an external seating arrangement is provided aft in the cockpit under a hard top. Two engines rated at 250 HPmetric (2x184kW) are said to generate speeds of up to 30 kn (56 km/h). The Aquariva, the Rivarama and the Rivale will be the Riva ensigns at the 2007 edition of the Boot in Düsseldorf (20th-28th January). The three “small” boats, all produced in the historical Sarnico shipyard, represent the modern evolution of Riva yachts, whose unmistakable style merges with top luxury and avant-garde technology to create inimitable works of art. The pure and elegant lines didn’t miss this occasion to enchant once again the lucky public of the Boat Show who had the chance to admire closer these rare jewels and to appreciate their innovative design and their charming grace.
