FERRETTI GROUP (FERRETTI YACHTS, PERSHING, BERTRAM, RIVA, APREAMARE, MOCHI CRAFT, CUSTOM LINE, CRN, ITAMA): 1 world premiere and 4 novelties for the German market will be presented by the Ferretti Group at Boot 2005 in Düsseldorf.

Excellent results have been achieved during the first Boat Shows of the 2004/2005 season with an order portfolio amounting to 537 million euros on November 30, 2004.

The Ferretti Group, a world leader in the design and construction of luxury motoryachts and sporting boats, marketed with brand names including Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Bertram, Riva, Apreamare, Mochi Craft, Custom Line, CRN and Itama, will be present at Boot 2005, the most significant event for the nautical market in central and northern Europe, scheduled for January 15-23 – with a fleet of 12 motoryachts exhibited in a large and elegant stand.

In particular, in Düsseldorf the Ferretti Group will present an absolute innovation world-wide, the Pershing 46’, as well as 4 new models for the German market: two Ferretti Yachts (731 and 550), one Mochi Craft (Dolphin 72’) and one Pershing (Pershing 62’).

The models exhibited, like all the yachts of the Group, are highly advanced from the technological application viewpoint, not only in terms of performance - speed, seaworthiness, manoeuvrability, etc. –, but especially as regards the materials utilized and comfort onboard, thanks to the thorough research carried out by the Group’s Engineering Division.

From an industrial point of view, mention should be made of the results achieved by the Ferretti Group during the first Boat Shows of the 2004/2005 season (Cannes, Montecarlo, Genoa, Fort Lauderdale and Barcelona), both in terms of public success and turnout and of orders registered, thus confirming its leadership on the European and international nautical market.

As at 30 November 2004, the Ferretti Group can, indeed, boast an order portfolio of 537 million euros.

These are the results of the great attention, high investments and constant commitment on the part of the Ferretti Group as regards research and development activities as well as the study of new technological and design solutions. This demonstrates its ability to always follow market inputs and requirements with increasingly technological and innovative products.

As for the economic results, the Group registered consolidated revenues of 557 million euros on August 31, 2004, a substantial growth (+45%) compared to the 385 million euros of the previous financial year and an Ebitda (Gross Operating Margin) of 83 million euros (+ 34%) compared to the 62 million euros registered at the end of August 2003; the Ebit (net operating result), on the other hand, reached 22 million euros compared to the previous 18 million euros (+22%).

Mentioned should also be made of the fact that, on December 1 this year, the Ferretti Group finalised the 100% acquisition of the Itama shipyards in Rome which will be entrusted to Pershing. Today Itama is one of the best known and most prestigious companies in the pleasure yachting sector, specialized in “open” motoryacht models whose length varies between 40 and 76 feet with a speed exceeding 40 knots.
