THE NEW, CARBON JEWEL FLAGSHIP, THE ITAMA SEVENTYFIVE, STARS AT THE MIAMI BOAT SHOW

January 30th, 2009 – In American waters, from February 12 to 16, the International Miami Boat Show, the biggest and most prestigious stage in the international yachting panorama, opens its doors to the 2,300 yacht companies it welcomes every year.

Itama, the brand that has written the story of Italian open yachting, together with Allied Marine, its exclusive distributor for the United States, will be taking part in this important event for the very first time and celebrating its official launch on the American market. This momentous move demonstrates the widely acclaimed popularity of the Italian shipyard that since September 2008 has established its headquarters at the impressive Torre Annunziata Yacht Centre, a modern production area that covers an area of over 125,000m.

The Miami Boat Show offers Itama an ideal opportunity for emphasizing the brand’s increasing internationalization and further highlighting the distinctive “Made in Italy” character of its boats. The agreement signed with Allied Marine also reinforces Itama’s penetration of the America market, thanks to the dealer’s wide-reaching distribution network and its numerous service points in Florida.

Itama has therefore become a major ambassador of “Italian style” overseas, and has succeeded in placing at the forefront of this prestigious, international exhibition, one of the market’s most exciting innovations and the pride of its fleet, the new Itama SeventyFive.

Distinctive contemporary style, traditional Italian craftsmanship, versatility, power, performance and design innovation all combine to make the Itama SeventyFive a real yachting gem. A spectacular achievement that has been made possible thanks to the company’s insistence on the most up-to-date technology and constant research into the latest style trends.

Having enjoyed huge success and acclaim in Europe, the Itama SeventyFive is now poised to make its grand entry onto the American market, confident of its ability to win over a public that is particularly attentive to technological innovation, functionality, and space design focused on direct sea contact.

On the Itama SeventyFive, all-Italian Itama lifestyle meets the American “on board” experience. Thanks to its special features, the Itama yacht can be enjoyed both on lakes and for brief coastline excursions. And not only that! The brand’s traditional strong points of performance and speed, fuse perfectly with American yacht lovers’ gritty sporting taste. Space layout has also been designed with particular care on the Itama SeventyFive, in order to make onboard hospitality more comfortable and stimulate the joy of being together; qualities that are both extremely important in the world of American yachting. A series of highly innovative details help make this possible, like the screen located in the cockpit, the spacious refrigerator unit and the option of having an icemaker in the cockpit.

The US market is world yachting’s prime market,” stated Fabio Fraternale, the Itama CEO, “and Itama’s determination to establish a firm position for itself also overseas is part of the brand’s general strategy of growth and development. The shipyard’s new flagship is particularly suited to meeting the needs of the American public. Technological innovation, speed, an aggressive exterior profile and interior flexibility, consecrated by unmistakeably Italian style and tradition, all combine to make the Itama SeventyFive a craft that American yacht owners are unlikely to let go. And if Itama boats have become an authentic symbol of a filter-free experience of the sea, in Italy, we are convinced that American yacht owners will also appreciate this model of navigation that satisfies their requirements perfectly.”

On January 30, to underline the importance of its launch on the American market, the Itama flagship was the star of a prestigious event where guests were able to experience the story behind the Itama brand in a highly elegant setting. Hosted at a brand new luxury, condo property called Capri South Beach, overlooking the sultry skyline of the city of Miami; it was the perfect backdrop to highlight the outstanding new vessel. Featuring a series of prestigious sponsors, including One Sotheby’s, Moleca providing premium carpirinha cocktails and catered by Maison D’ Azur, the event was very well attended by Miami’s elite for the official unveiling and presentation of the new Itama Seventyfive by Itama’s CEO Fabio Fraternale and other executives from both Itama and Allied Marine. Overall, the event was a success and Itama was labelled the quintessential yacht by excited onlookers.

Technological innovation, maximum performance, speed, authentic Italian Style, brand internationalization and<STRIKE> </STRIKE>the importance of research and experimentation are the fundamental values that Itama will focus on when it takes center stage in front of the American public, together with the most prestigious stars in the yachting world.

ITAMA SEVENTYFIVE

The Itama SeventyFive is a 23.54 metre long, glass fibre yacht that can host up to 16 people. Designed by architect Marco Casali, together with the Itama and Ferretti Group Engineering Departments, the craft is fitted with twin 1823 hp MTU engines and an Arneson ASD 14 drive.

The SeventyFive reaches peak speeds of up to 43 knots and cruises comfortably at 38 knots. The craft’s exterior design has been deliberately perfected to enhance its aura of power. High bows, a distinctively curved profile and an elegantly sleek structure, thanks to a slim central carbon fiber roof and imposing carbon fiber windshield are the features that distinguish this dynamic open yacht and highlight its sporting spirit.

On going onboard, the extraordinary quality of the craft’s living areas is immediately apparent, as well as its revolutionary use of space. The cockpit, which measures almost 60 square metres, is divided into 4 zones, including a private lounge to the fore of the helm station that leads directly out onto the sundeck in the bows through a wide retractable front opening. The centre of the cockpit features a spacious sofa and a stern sundeck is located above the hangar.

The boat’s standard layout consists of 3 cabins (a Master Cabin, VIP full beam and a guest cabin with two separate beds) and 3 bathrooms, as well as a twin crew cabin with its own bathroom. The craft is also available in an alternative four cabin version, all with en-suite bathrooms.

The fittings in the interiors have tastefully restyled the typically 70s corners and contours of the boat with a combination of leather and wood and steel and white lacquered finishes.

ITAMA AND THE FERRETTI GROUP
